The Great Miner Event is going to be a community event put on by Bingham High School's Peer Leadership Team. Our mascot is the Miner, hence the name Great Miner Event. We got involved because the Peer Leadership Team is a service group. Our main project is going to elementary schools and teaching them about doing drugs. We wanted to help out with community and non-community organizations that helped children. When we found out about ALSF we decided this was just the thing! We plan to do a 5k run and lemonade stand. Also, we might be having a battle of the bands in order to raise more money. We are in the middle of calculating about how much money we will need in order to run this event. Any money right now will help!
