Hi, my name is Katie. As an eighth-grade student, I am required to do a year long project, in which I research an organization that has made a difference to the world. I have chosen Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to study. For part of the project, I am required to do at least 8 hours of community service for Alex's Lemonade Stand. In order to complete these 8 hours, I am organizing a walk-a-thon to raise money. The walk-a-thon will be held at Wilson Farm Park, in the Tredyffrin Township, in Chester County PA. It will be held March 19, 2010, from 1pm-3pm in the afternoon. The walk-a-thon will be held for anyone who is willing to donate money to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
