Once upon a time, there were three brave superheroes, looking for a villain to defeat... 

(Well, our brave heroes are actually loan officers and the villain is a rare form of childhood cancer called Wilms Tumor, but keep reading - the story will still be a pretty good one!)

The Mustache Mortgage Men (Armen, Adam, and Kyle) have decided to celebrate the month of March in a few different ways:

First, they will shave off their treasured beards, leaving them with some very magical mustaches!

They will then use their newfound magical mustache powers to lead the cause in fighting this terrible villain - for every closing or refinance each of our brave heroes has in the month of March, they will personally donate twenty dollars to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. By the end of the month, they hope to make it to their goal of $2000, which will fund a week's worth of research into finding a cure for childhood cancer!

So why is this the plot of our story? It's simple. Once upon a time, there was a wonderful little boy named Griffin. At three years old, Griff was full of life, spunk, and humor! Unfortunately, he was also diagnosed with Wilms Tumor, a type of childhood cancer that starts in the kidneys. With a growth on his kidney the size of an orange, he would have to go through surgeries to remove the tumor and his entire kidney.

His families’ hopes that this would be contained were then smashed by the news that the cancer had spread to his abdomen. He would have to go through months of radiation and chemo, a trial that would make even the toughest of heroes falter. However, this little hero marched on with a smile and a will made of steel, and after a long battle, is officially CANCER FREE!

In honor of this awe-inspiring superhero, our loan officers have decided to dedicate the month of March to continuing this fight, so that other kids like Griff can have a future just as bright!
