United StatesALEX’S LEMONADE STAND FOUNDATION CELEBRATES DECADE OF STANDING FOR HOPE,
HOSTS ANNUAL LEMONADE DAYS
Rodgers Family to Host Alex’s Lemonade Stand
The Rodgers family will host their first Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand as part of the National Lemonade Days weekend on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 12pm-3pm, 567 West Hartwell Lane, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19118. The Rodgers family decided to get involved because their two daughters, Eva (age 4) and Francesca (age 3) read about Alex, the Lemonade Girl, in a book at Chestnut Hill’s local Starbucks. The book became a regular read with every visit and the girls wanted to make lemonade just like Alex “extra sweet and icy cold” in order to help kids with cancer.
Making this year even more special, 2010 marks 10 years since cancer patient Alexandra “Alex’ Scott held her first front yard lemonade stand to find a cure for all childhood cancers.
