This September will mark the first full year without Patty in the world, but she is still in our lives. 
So many other children and parents are going through treatments, clinical trials, and hospitalizations from complications related to cancer. Many of them, like us, travel far from home to do so. These are sick kids, who are often immune deficient and cannot be out in public and need a clean, safe place to stay, along with family members traveling with them. 

This is especially important this year. 
Along with providing funding for childhood cancer research, ALS provides aid for lodging, gas, and food for these families. More children than ever are in need of assistance this year! Even if Covid 19 is part of history when September comes, the funds for this aid will be severely depleted, if not gone entirely.

Please join me this year to raise funds so that ALS can continue to provide this much-needed aid. Had it not been for ALS, there were many times that we would have had to sleep in our car. 
Walking, running, or biking is a great way to practice social distancing while getting fresh air and good exercise! Remember Patty by helping other kids hope for a cure. Stay safe, stay healthy, and help our team reach its goal!
