On May 21st, I will be hosting an adult "prom" party, the theme this year being Alice in Wonderland. Entry fee includes light refreshments, drinks, DJ, decorations for pictures and raffles. All proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand and her foundation. I got a few donations of baskets (and the like) from nearby organizations, and am waiting to hear back from a few more...in hopes of raising not only money, but awareness. I find Alex to be extremely heroic at such a young age, and she has done more in her cut-too-short life, than most adults accomplish in a lifetime. I would like to walk hand in hand with Alex toward a brighter future for the cancer diagnosed young children, and better their lives for as long as they live... =)
