COVID-19 cannot stop us from remembering William and helping find a cure.  This year's lemonade stand will be a bit different, though.  We will be hosting a drive-thru lemonade stand at the end of our driveway.  Pull-up, roll your window down, and receive your lemonade and treat without ever leaving your car.  We hope you will still consider joining us.  We promise to be masked and gloved and your treats will be individually packaged.   

Every day, there are almost 700 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affecting children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded.  Less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.

When he was 3.5 years old, our son William was one of those affected. We fought a long, hard nine month battle with Stage IV Anaplastic Wilms Tumor but ultimately William went to his heavenly home in August of 2018.  It is our family's dream that in the future no family has to go through what we did.
