September is Child Cancer Awareness Month. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was started in 2005 by Alexandra "Alex" Scott's parents. Alex passed away from cancer in 2004 at the age of 8. Our sister, Cheryl, dedicated her life to help children like Alex. Unfortunately, Cheryl died in a tragic accident at the age of 51. We have formed a team in her memory during the Million Mile Event so that researchers can find better treatments and more cures for kids battling cancer. The goal is to collectively move 1 million miles during the month of September. We understand this year has brought financial hardship for many. We have not set any monetary goal but welcome your steps and prayers.
