I see the effects of childhood cancer every day in my work at Texas Children's Hospital. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation has gone above and beyond to help these families stay financially afloat, allowing them to focus on their treatment instead of worrying about how to pay their next bill. In September, I'll be running, walking, and biking to honor the memory of the many children I've loved who have died from their cancer and rooting for the children now enduring treatment every day.
