ALDI is pouring love back into our communities with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

From July 14^th - 28^th shoppers are invited to purchase lemon themed items with the Alex’s Lemonade Stand logo. For every item purchased, ALDI will make a donation to families with children battling cancer, up to $1 million. This fundraising effort is part of ALDI’s commitment to support health and hunger-related issues in our communities.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation began as a front yard lemonade stand for four-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. When she passed away at the age of eight, she had reached her goal to raise $1 million. Today, the Foundation is one of the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S. and has raised more than $250 million, funding over 1,000 research projects and providing programs to families affected by childhood cancer.

ALDI admires Alex’s enthusiasm and determination to help others facing pediatric cancer and to ultimately find a cure. In addition to making a lemon themed purchase in-store or online, ALDI is encouraging supporters to host their own virtual lemonade stand to align with Alex’s vision and donate the proceeds to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
