Of course, our family understands that priorities have shifted and resources are in flux, so we will host a drive by - socially distanced - make your own lemonade stand this year. We are all doing our part to protect our families and friends and in doing so protect those most at risk. The COVID fog has yet to fully lift, so again this year we honor the courage and commitment of medical professionals who are on the front lines. We also dedicate this year’s stand to Enzo’s aunt, Natalia Moorhead, who championed our inaugural stand in 2005 and is currently in treatment for a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer.
Please drive by to pick up your very own Lemonade to Go bag at 11727 Birch Glen Court (the Scripps Ranch home of Natalia and Jason Moorhead and family). The Abrahams-Rissolo gang will be there as well, along with the Condrays and extended family. Together – and at least 24 lemons apart – we will celebrate the preciousness of life and the power of compassion as well as the 17th Anniversary of our first Lemonade Stand in memory of Lorenzo “Enzo” Rissolo.
We hope to see you all -- happy, healthy, and fully vaccinated -- in Balboa Park next year for a refreshing glass of lemonade and big hugs!
With love from all of us...
PS: The Moorhead house is on a cul-de-sac with plenty of room to loop around and pause for brief “hello.” Parking may be limited, and we’ll want to be respectful of neighbors (so no car horns or vuvuzelas ;-)
