Hello, I am Andrew Ventresca. I am holding a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma when I was 9 months old. The protocol for my treatment was in study status when my parents had to make the decision to move foward with the plan for my treatment. After months of intense chemotherapy, my tumors started to shrink and eventually the treatment proved to be successful.  I was cancer free before my second birthday. 

I will be forever grateful to the doctors, nurses and researchers who gave me a fighting chance. I am junior at St. Joseph's Prep in Philadelphia and follow the Jesuit teachings to help others. This foundation gives me the opportunity to help children with cancer. I want them to have the same opportunity to live a healthy life.
