46NYC and Juggernaut Training Systems have joined in a bi-coastal collaboration to host a lemonade stand to raise money for childhood cancer research in Alex's honor. Alex's Lemonade Stand is an inspiration to us - we are thrilled to be able to pass that feeling along to our friends and family. The story behind this amazing organization is truly touching, and the amount of medical progress and research from its fundraising efforts is equally as powerful.
When we first heard of ALSF, we said to one another, "We have to do a stand." We're elated that day is now a reality. 46NYC is also flattered to be involved with ALSF as a charity partner for the "cur46le" tee. Proceeds from each "cur46le" tee go to ALSF to help find a cure for pediatric cancer.
The NYC stand will be Sunday, August 29th from 1:00PM to roughly 6:00PM at Merchants' Gate (entrance to Central Park). The cross-streets for this location are West 59th St. and Columbus Circle. Juggernaut Training Systems is also planning to host a stand on August 29th in a location to be named in the Orange County California area.
In a joint effort, Juggernaut Training Systems (http://www.JTSstrength.com) and 46NYC (http://www.46nyc.com) have established a fundraising goal of $10,000. We will continue our effort until our goal is reached. JTS is hosting a fundraiser on October 1st at 8:00pm at Avila's El Ranchito. Owners of JTS, Chad and Nathan, will guestbartend to raise money for ALSF and celebrate JTS' one year anniversary.
Give what you can - every little bit helps us reach our goal. And please forward the email on and post the link. We'd love to see it all over Facebook and Twitter and anywhere else! Thank you and we hope to see all of you on August 29th either in the park or at the beach!
Best Wishes,
Hal, John, Graham, Chad and Nate
