Two weeks ago today, our grandma died from cancer. In her memory, TWINS RUN in our family will hold a Team Lemon Fundraiser at Mcshea's Restaurant & Bar in Narberth, PA on Wednesday August 1 from 9pm - 11pm to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation! TWINS RUN in our family: Malinda & Leah run in memory of Leah's brother-in-law, Michael Connor & their grandmother, Aileen O'Connor Hill - two amazing souls with inspiring Irish spirits who died from cancer.  A week ago, on Monday, July 16, our grandma "GG" died from cancer. We are still grieving her loss, but we keep running in her honor and in her memory. 

She always had great sense of humor & her spirit is still with me on my !  shuffle songs=

Our grandma (GG), died earlier this morning from cancer. We are still in shock, since it was just 72 hours from diagnosis. Our hearts ache, but we know she is no longer in pain. We will continue to fight cancer, in memory of Michael and GG, one race at a time. And, we will continue to advocate for pain management, palliative care and hospice, too.

Our grandma is fighting cancer with her amazing Irish spirit, like Michael. Thoughts & prayers are appreciated so she does not suffer any more pain.

 Malinda "Beat Broad Street" Run with the help of Leah's mantra: "Each Mile's A Gift, Negative Splits" and ran a PR (1:29:02)! :-)
