My daughter, Alexa, has been asking me to host a lemonade stand for her - one that will allow her to raise money for a good cause. She learned about Alex's Lemonade Stand and thought it would be the perfect opportunity!
Besides experiencing her grandfather losing his battle to stomach cancer, our little cousin, Taylor Grace, was diagnosed with leukemia soon after, before her 2nd birthday. Cancer sucks no matter how you look at it, but there's something that resonates with you deeply when a child has to endure such a disgusting disease. Luckily, Taylor was a strong little trooper and is a Leukemia survivor! Taylor is currently 5 years old and thriving!

Cancer does not discriminate based on age, but research can help prevent it from taking more children's lives. Children are our future doctors, lawyers, and teachers. They are the ones who going to change the world! Every child deserves to live a healthy life and every parent deserves to watch their little ones grow to become the person they're meant to be.
