Good Morning Everyone!

Wow! It has been quite some time since I have written, but I wanted to inform everyone who has been following our progress that the sixth grade class is still committed as ever to raising money for this amazing foundation. I want to thank all of the individuals who have made donations and have contributed their time to our efforts.

To Alex's Mom Mrs. Scott,

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Words cannot express how Alex's story made my class and I feel. We knew we wanted to help in anyway that we could and hope that one day a cure will be found. This experience will be one that my class and I will remember for a very long time.

One Sip At A Time,

Ms. Trosclair

Dear Ms. Trosclair and class,
I am so glad to hear that you have had a great experience fundraising for Alex's Lemonade Stand. We are so appreciative; on behalf of families of children with cancer -- a BIG thank you to each of you and your supporters for making your stand so successful:)

Alex's Lemonade Stand

Today is a wonderful day to give thanks! Our lemonade stand has officially begun and we are off to a great start. We would like to start with a list of "thanks" to the following people for their generous donations:

  • Ms. Grant: Thank you for purchasing a cup of lemonade for every child in your class. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
  • Ms. Hawk-Hill: Thank you for your support. It means a lot to us all.
  • Ms. Jackson: You were the first teacher to purchase a cup of lemonade. Thank you so much!
  • Ms. Matthews: We are so thankful that you supported our stand. We are glad you enjoyed your cup of lemonade.
  • Unique: We appreciate your family's generosity in donating jars of lemonade. Without donations like yours, the lemonade stand would not be possible.
  • Cashio's Catering: Thank you for your monetary donation. You all were the first to give an online donation. Your support is appreciated.
  • To the students of JES: A BIG "thank you" goes out to all of those who purchased lemonade today. You showed your support in our cause for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. You all serve as role models for your classmates. :)

Words cannot express how thankful we all are that you have become involved in our endeavor to raise money for children's cancer research. We look forward to reaching, and possibly exceeding, our goal!

One Sip At A Time,

Ms. Trosclair, Mr. Holmes and 6th graders

Hello everyone! It has been quite some time since I last wrote. Today is a very wonderful day as I received a monetary donation for Alex's Lemonade Stand from my mom, Jeanette. She also donated cups and lemonade for the stand at school. Thank you so much for your support! It is very much appreciated.

We will have our first sale on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at recess. There will be 6th grade students selling lemonade outside for all grade levels.

Hope to see you all there!

One Sip At A Time,

Ms. Trosclair

We would like to send a special thank you to Mr. Holmes' 6th grade class for making a committment to help us reach our goal. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Check out our photo album to see all of the students from his class.

Mrs. Jackson

This is a great way in which to show the kids how teamwork and preserverence goes a long way; as you say,"one sip at a time!" I'm proud of you guys! Whatever I can help with please count me in....

Mrs. Kimble

I think this is really going to be good!

Sean :)

Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Kimble,

Thank you for checking out our page and the support you are giving to the foundation. By the way, Sean insists that you both know that he came up with "A Sip to Save". We (the class) are not sure what to say about that, but it is what it is!

What a great way to show that you C.A.R.E! This is awesome. You guys are really setting an example for your peers and displaying that with teamwork anything is possible. The second graders would definitely enjoy sipping on some sweet lemonade too. When will you guys be on our hall to sale? Go 6th graders, GO! Kudos to you, Ms. Trosclair.
