The students in my 2nd grade class have been learning amount money with the purpose of creating lemonade like stands to help raise money for cancer, like Alex did. On the last day of the unit the students will participate in a fundraising event were the will sell small goodies to classmates. The money raised will be sent to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Last year we were able to raise $100 from this activity.
