Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has been closely monitoring the serious circumstances surrounding COVID-19. We hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy during this difficult time. ALSF has reached a mutual decision with our hosts, Chef Marc Vetri and Jeff Benjamin, and our host venue, URBN, not to proceed with The Great Chefs Event Philadelphia on the scheduled date of June 6, 2020. The matter of cancellation or postponement is still being discussed as we explore whether there is an option to reschedule later in the year. The health and safety of everyone involved remains our top priority, which is why we have chosen to make this difficult, yet important decision.

We are extremely grateful for all the support received to help children with cancer thus far. Please be assured that we will continue to share updates as quickly as possibly via email, our website and on our social media accounts. Although the event is not canceled at this time, we understand if you would like to request a refund for your ticket purchase or sponsorship. You may request a refund here.

The Great Chefs Event Philadelphia FAQ’s

  • Q: Is the event postponed/canceled?
    • A: The event will not take place on June 6, 2020. The matter of cancellation or postponement is still being discussed as we explore whether there is an option to reschedule later in the year.  We will share updates as quickly as possibly via email, our website and on social media accounts.
  • Q: I purchased a ticket. What should I do?
    • A: In the event of a cancellation, your ticket can be counted as a donation to ALSF, or you may request a refund. In the event of a postponement, all ticket purchases will be honored for the new date. For further assistance, please email Jen O’Malley at [email protected].
  • Q: We sponsored the event. What should we do?
    • A: In the event of a cancellation, your sponsorship can count as a donation to ALSF, or you may request a refund. In the event of a postponement, you can remain a sponsor and keep your sponsorship benefits for the new date. For further assistance, please email Jen O’Malley at [email protected].
  • Q: I volunteered for the event. What should I do?
    • A: When we reach a final decision on rescheduling or canceling, we will directly notify you. If we are able to reschedule the event, we hope you will be able to join us on the new date. Please email Stephanie Velasquez with any further questions at [email protected].

Event Information

The Great Chefs Event Philadelphia is the original ALSF culinary event hosted by Chef Marc Vetri and his business partner Jeff Benjamin. More than 40 superstar chefs from across the country will come together under one roof and serve their signature tasting dishes at this family-friendly event. And the cherry on top: this year marks the 15th Annual Great Chefs Event Philadelphia! 

Guests will have the chance to taste delectable food, bid on fabulous auction items and celebrate 15 years of this amazing event, alongside their favorite chefs. Join the movement to end pediatric cancer by supporting The Great Chefs Event Philadelphia. You do not want to miss this milestone event filled with fun, food and the fight for a cure!

General Admission - $195 ($95 Tax-Deductible)

  • Children 12 and under receive complimentary admission with an accompanying adult.

VIP Ticket - $500 ($350 Tax-Deductible)

  • Special VIP check-in and access to the event an hour before it opens to the public.

All Access Ticket - $1,200 ($1,000 Tax-Deductible)
