Alex's "Original" Lemonade Stand, where the dream began and continues as a promise of hope for all children and families touched by childhood cancer, returned to Alex's neighborhood of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 12, 2010.
This year, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Alex’s very first stand, and thousands of families, friends, and local celebrities came together for a fun-filled day of remembrance. With a beautiful day for lemonade and outdoor fun, the event was a huge success.
Volvo Cars, not only matched $25,000 in donations, but also raffled off a brand new Volvo at the event. The lucky winner is Marty Gillan of North Carolina!
So far, with donations still coming in, our 2010 total is already over $95,000 through this one day event!
