The Torres Family, Utah

Meet the Torres family, ALSF's Childhood Cancer Hero family representing the many kids affected by cancer in Utah this year.

Alex's Lemonade Days is an annual 3-day fundraiser where supporters from coast to coast hold lemonade stands in a unified effort to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Support this family and all kids with cancer by hosting an Alex's Lemonade Stand in your hometown!

Just after her second birthday, Brinley was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.  In the months that followed, the Torres family watched helplessly as the rigors of treatment took its toll on their once high-spirited little girl.  Despite all that she had to endure, Brinley remained optimistic which restored the faith of her loving family.  Read more about Brinley, a childhood cancer hero.  Now in remission, her courage and strength have paid off, but the Torres family continues to fight for all children with cancer.  They are holding a lemonade stand during Alex's Lemonade Days, June 12-14, 2015
