Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer

Returning for the fourth consecutive year, K12 Operation Lemonade is a special opportunity specifically for K12 families to get involved with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF). In past years, K12 families from across the country have participated in ALSF’s Lemonade Days- Operation Lemonade - raising over $160,000. This is your chance to hold a lemonade stand and join the fight against childhood cancer, one cup at a time.

ALSF emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient, Alexandra “Alex” Scott, and has since transformed into a national volunteer movement carrying on her legacy of hope. Alex created a fun and easy way to help others and believed that every single donation was a valuable contribution to the battle.

This year we want the K12 community to help make our largest annual fundraising weekend, appropriately dubbed, Lemonade Days the best ever! From Friday, June 10 to Sunday, June 12, 2011, over $1 million will be raised for childhood cancer research through thousands of lemonade stands held across the country, and we want K12 to be a part of this remarkable weekend!
