Thank you for joining us at the inaugural Lemon Run 5K Run/Walk Kansas City and Kids’ Dash held on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Waterfall Park in Independence, Missouri. The beautiful course offered something for all of the 150 participants of all ages and athletic abilities.
Congratulations to the overall winner, Austin Honeycutt of Kansas City, MO with a time of 20 minutes and 59 seconds. The overall female winner was Mary Ann Roter, of Columbia, MO, with a time of 23 minutes and 46 seconds.
We also want to thank the volunteers, sponsors and cheerleaders who helped make the morning a success, propelling the event to raise over $10,000 for childhood cancer research.
