Why Join Team Lemon?
There are many reasons to join! All of the below benefits are available to anyone who joins Team Lemon. You do not have to commit to a fundraising minimum to take advantage of these benefits!
Here is what makes Team Lemon unique and fun:
- A Team Lemon fundraising page where you can track your progress, receive donations online, post photos and blog about your training and event.
- Regular Fundraising Coach communication with fundraising tips and inspirational hero stories.
- When you register, you can choose to receive a fundraising starter kit to help you get going.
- Access to a Public Relations Specialist and Social Media Specialist who can assist you in spreading the word about your fundraiser.
- A discount code for ALSF merchandise in the online gift shop.
- You can join as an individual or a team - it’s your choice!
- Partner with a Hero Family/Child that you can honor during your training and race.
- Incentives for fundraising. (See the Fundraising Incentives tab in the left navigation bar for more details.)
- Unlike other programs, you are not required to raise a minimum amount just to participate and enjoy team benefits. You have the option to pick a race that has a fundraising minimum (see Current Races tab on the left), but if you do not want to, you can pick a race where you can set your own fundraising goal.
- Be part of a team effort, even if you are running as an individual; it’s more motivating! We will have kick-off meetings, group runs and training seminars.
- Achieve your goals while helping to raise money and awareness for a great cause!
