This 2 day event gave tribute to Pat and her dedication to the pediatric oncology nursing field by cultivating the skills of the novice nurse researcher and preparing them for a career helping children with cancer.

Who: Novice pediatric oncology nurse researchers

What: Nurse Researcher Workshop to learn the mechanics of designing a research proposal, securing funds, carrying out research and disseminating findings.

When: April 26 & 27, 2010

Where: Loews Hotel, Philadelphia, PA

Why: ALSF is committed to helping pediatric nurse researchers pursue ideas which will immediately and substantially impact the lives of children with cancer.
