1,2,3,4… We declare a LEMONADE war! Our school will be joining Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) in their efforts to raise money for childhood cancer research by competing in The Great Lemonade War! This contest, inspired by the book The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies, challenges schools to compete against each other to determine who can raise the most money through a lemonade stand project. The school that raises the most money for ALSF by the end of the contest will receive a visit from the author of the series, Jacqueline Davies, as well as one of Alex Scott’s parents, Liz or Jay Scott. Every cup/donation counts! Please support our school and help us raise funds to find a cure for childhood cancers, a cause we know that is near and dear to our hearts!

Some of our upcoming events:

•  Lemonade at Lunch- This will take place on the following dates: April 16^th, 18^th, 20^th, 24^th, and 26th. Students should give their donations to their homeroom teachers that morning and they will receive a cup of lemonade at lunch! Any donation amount is acceptable!
• Pie in the Face-Similar to last year’s “Sour Face” contest, each teacher will have a container in the lobby. Students may bring in money to place in the containers. The teachers with the top 3 amounts of money in their cans by the end of April will get “pied” by some lucky students.
• Lemonade Drive-thru-Stop by, pull up, and let us serve you!
