TWINS RUN in our family
Malinda Ann Hill and Leah Connor are identical twins and opposite runners!
Malinda is the #TweetAndRun, go with the flow slower twin.
Leah is the Garmin obsessed, Boston Marathon Qualifier (3:35:36) faster twin.
Michael Connor, Leah's brother-in-law, was diagnosed with cancer as a child. Michael kept fighting cancer with his inspiring Irish spirit, so it was very bittersweet when he died on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2003.
Our grandma, Aileen O'Connor Hill (affectionately known as "GG" ), was diagnosed with cancer on Friday, July 13 and died on Monday, July 16, 2012. Her sudden and unexpected death has affected us profoundly. Our grief is intense, but we find solace in running in her memory.
We will continue the fight to end childhood cancer in memory of Michael and GG!
