Brady is a 6 year survivor of  Neuroblastoma. He is one of a set of triplets (age 7) and also has a younger sister (age 6). He was diagnosed at age 20 months when doctors found a tumor while trying to figure out why he hadn’t learned to walk. Two surgeries and chemotherapy followed before Brady was declared stable. He has never been declared cancer free, as a small piece of tumor in his spine is inaccessible to surgeons. He is checked yearly for any evidence of change in the area of the tumor and also is at high risk for spinal deformity as he grows. Despite these and other late effects of treatment, Brady is a typically developing and thriving boy! He loves basketball, baseball, soccer, legos, and just enjoying life with his family.

Brady and his family have held an Alex’s Stand each year since 2009. This year they will break the $20,000 mark in total funds raised with their event on Labor Day!

Katana was a creative spirit, sharing stories and developing movies in her head with her action figures. Her imagination ran wild and her heart was big. While she passed away at just 3 from leukemia, her parents continue to raise awareness in her honor.
At 15 months old, August was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma. By the time her family found out, she was basically blind. ALSF's Travel For Care program helped August get to the treatments she needed, and today she is 3 years old and can see!
