DURHAM, N.C. - Northwestern Mutual presented a $100,000 research grant to child cancer researchers at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Wednesday through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

The Duke Children's Hospital and Health Center in Durham and the North Carolina Children's Hospital at UNC will each receive $50,000 to fund a nurse researcher investigating the quality of care and life for children with cancer.
