About The Lemon Ball

A night of celebration and inspiration

The Lemon Ball is Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF)’s benefit gala, making an impact for children with cancer. For more than two decades, this remarkable evening has inspired change in the childhood cancer community and memorialized our founder, Alex Scott, and her dream of finding cures for all kids with cancer. What started as her front-yard lemonade stand has grown into the largest independent childhood cancer foundation in the U.S., and we want to toast to it with you.

We invite you to celebrate the life and legacy of Alex, the progress we’ve made in childhood cancer research, and the generosity of our donors that makes it all possible.

    Yellow Tie Optional

    Tuxedos, dark suits, gowns, or cocktail attire. Yellow accessories are highly encouraged!

Event Schedule

  1. VIP Arrival

    Sponsor, Benefactor, and VIP guests are admitted with early access to the cocktail reception.

  2. General Admission Arrival

    General admission guests are admitted to the cocktail hour.

  3. Welcome & Dinner

    Guests are seated in the Grand Ballroom for welcome remarks from our hosts, interviews with childhood cancer hero families, and a multi-course dinner.

  4. Awards & Live Auction

    The Alex Scott Crystal Cup Awards are presented, followed by a live auction featuring one-of-a-kind items and experiences.

  5. Dessert & Dancing

    Our program ends on the dance floor with a live band and a delicious spread of desserts. The Silent Auction closes at 10:15 PM.

  6. Evening Ends

    Close the inspirational evening with lasting Lemon Ball memories and a few goodies.
