Join Alex’s Lemonade Stand in the fight to end childhood cancer! This year, the Sigma Kappa and Kappa Delta Rho chapters at Purdue University are teaming up with Kick-It, an Alex’s Lemonade Stand beneficiary, to cure childhood cancer - one kick at a time!
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is a national childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research into new treatments and cures for all children battling cancer. All funds raised go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a registered 501(c)3 charity. Careful distribution of our grants allows doctors to bring the latest and most promising life saving treatments to seriously ill children. These grants provide hope for childhood cancer patients.
The Kick-It tournament will take place on Saturday, October 13 at the Black IM fields from 11 am to 3 pm. The tournament will have a male and female division, competing for highest total amount of points with the opportunity to win extra points through skip a meals and fundraising. Registration is $100 per team with a $100 prize for the philanthropy of choice for the winner of each division. Be on the lookout for more information about our additional events.
To register, please return cash or a check made out to the Kick-It Foundation as well as a signed waiver for each participant to Sigma Kappa by October 6.
