Kiera is doing very well these days. Her scans continue to be clear and her side effects from treatment are minimal. This summer, she graduated from the regular oncology program at Boston Children's Hospital and will be followed in their Survivorship Clinic going forward. This is a major milestone for any pediatric cancer patient and this is a year earlier than we expected. Kiera is in second grade at school and is looking forward to a great year that will culminate with her receiving her First Holy Communion. She enjoys doing gymnastics, swimming, riding her bike, and being a Girl Scout. Above all, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
