Whitney was born on February 26, 1995. She was fun, spunky, always smiling and laughing, the light in any room, and the life of any party. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, cousin, and friend. I got the absolute honor of calling her my best friend and hand picked sister for 17 years on this earth. Whit went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2017 after putting up the best fight in her battle with Ewing's Sarcoma.
Our hearts will hurt until the day we see Whit again, but we know she is celebrating in Heaven every day and smiling down on all of us. Her Facebook profile still reads "Faith tells me that no matter what lies ahead of me, God is already there." I get chills every time I see it. She is so right.
Whit inspired and continues to inspire everyone in her life and everyone who knew her. She was and is an incredible light and incredible human. The least I can do in her memory is create this memorial page, where she can continue to be celebrated every day, and we can raise funds for those currently battling the same disease she battled. Whit would want her death to create a positive impact in the lives of others; I firmly believe that.
