About Mark F. Seib
Mark was a dedicated husband, father, and most importantly, grandfather. Mark was born on a military base in Japan on January 9 1961 (“It’s already my birthday” is what he would say, EVERY YEAR on January 8) to Bernard and Bernadette Seib. Mark met and married the love of his life, Stephanie Seib in 1980, and had two daughters, Michele and Melissa Seib. Mark was an amazing superhero family man who survived in a house full of women until 2008 when his grandson, Vincent, was born. Vincent was the light of Mark's life and his best friend. Vincent and Mark did just about everything together, vacations, video games, and of course “surviving the women”.
A jack of all trades handyman, Mark was the guy who would show up when you needed him the most (or even when you didn’t) to show support, or just help with a task. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, his palpable sense of humor and endearing chuckles will be forever embedded in the minds of everyone he knew.
As the most loving grandfather of Vincent, a pediatric cancer survivor, Mark and his family became avid supporters of Alex's Lemonade Stand. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wishes to remember Mark, honor him by supporting ALSF. Per his wishes, Mark will be cremated with a private family memorial service in Cumberland Maryland.
