About Benjamin Bergman
Benjamin was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on August 18, 2020 when he was 4 years old. He courageously endured many finger pokes for blood count checks, port accesses, IV chemotherapy, intrathecal (into the spinal fluid) chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy and side effects from these medications for over 2 years. There has been nothing more difficult in our lives than to watch our child go through this journey, but from the beginning we told him we would get through it together. Benjamin received his last intrathecal (into the spinal fluid) chemotherapy September 12, 2022 and his last oral chemotherapy October 26, 2022. This experience has taken a toll physically, emotionally, and spiritually, but by the grace of God he remains in remission!
