When
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. I plan to fight childhood cancer, one mile at a time by participating in The Million Mile!
Thanks to your support, ALSF-Funded Research led to a breakthrough in neuroblastoma and osterosarcoma. 2 doctors at Stanford found that alone 2 antibodies did little to improve outcomes. But given together, they eliminated neuroblastoma and prevented cancer from spreading to the lungs in osteosarcoma. The results have led to a clinical trial currently enrolling 80 children with neuroblastoma or osteosarcoma.
I am a mom of a childhood cancer survivor and have a passion to raise awareness of the need to support childhood cancer research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.
Join with me in praying for children and families all over the world affected by this nasty disease. Also for the ALSF research teams to discover less toxic treatments and breakthrough cures this year!!!
