This September, I plan to fight childhood cancer, one mile at a time by participating in The Million Mile in Memory of Miles! Our sweet boy bravely battled brain cancer for 4 years. He endured cancer treatments while trapped inside a body he had no control over due to severe damage to the motor areas of his brain from complications with his tumor resection. He passed away in March of 2014. It is an honor to continue to fight for him by raising funds for others. It is a privilege to walk in his memory, especially considering he lost that ability in the beginning of his battle. Never take for granted your health or abilities.
