Go Gold for Childhood Cancer 💛

This September, we’re raising money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to help move one step closer to finding better treatments and cures for children with cancer.

Our Haysville Junior League Cheerleaders and Football players will be Going GOLD at the September 26th football games. Our community is coming together to help us raise funds through bracelet sales and of course... A Lemonade Stand!

For us, this fundraiser is personal.

Our Junior League Cheer Coach Jessica was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma at just 9 months old. After treatment, she spent many years cancer-free before being diagnosed again at 15 with Stage 4 neuroblastoma. Since then, she has endured years of treatment, multiple relapses, and more than any child or young adult should ever have to face.

Today, at 21 years old, Jessica is finally celebrating clear scans and is participating in a vaccine trial at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York — research designed with the hope of preventing this devastating cancer from returning.

Research like this is why we fundraise.

It gives children more options, families more time, and all of us more hope for a future where childhood cancer can be cured.

And this fundraiser has an especially meaningful connection to Jessica’s story.

Jessica grew up in this community and spent years cheering on these very sidelines. Today, she has come full circle and is back as a little league cheer coach, pouring into the next generation of kids who call this community home.

Throughout Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’ll be bringing our fundraiser to the football fields of the town and high school where Jessica grew up.
