Hi, my name is Deacon Gehle and I'm the long snapper for the Lincoln East Spartan Football Team. I'm hosting a season long fundraiser to SNAP OUT childhood cancer. Unfortunately I have experienced childhood cancer loosing my friend, Christian Waite to angiosarcoma when he was in the 6th grade and my cousin Stella, who passed away with a brain tumor called DIPG in first grade. These two battled every day and lived their lives to the fullest. I just wish more than anything that they were still with us today.

I am dedicating my senior season to Christian, Stella, and other kids with cancer so that with the help of Alex's Lemonade Stand, researchers can help support and work on curing childhood cancers so that more kids can live to graduate from high school.

There are a couple ways you can support, either a one-time donation, a pledge donation, or both. The pledge donations will apply to every time I snap the ball so it can be kicked or punted, meaning completed snaps for field goals, extra points, and punts will all count towards your pledge. Pledge $1 per snap or whatever you are comfortable with. Last season we raised $1,500 on 80 snaps.
