Hi! My name is Madi and I’m 10 years old. A few years ago I wanted to have a lemonade stand and told my mom I wanted to donate it all to childhood cancer. She told me about Alex’s Lemonade and I knew that was the one.  We held our first one in 2021… it may have been small but I was proud to do it.  In 2022 we decided to go bigger - my brother and sister helped along with our good friends Owen, Luke and Cooper! The following year (2023), we raised $1,151! Last year, it was a huge success and we surpassed the goal of $1,500 with a whopping $2,385! This year, my goal is $2,500, which may sound like a lot, but I also know we can do it! 

This year, holding the lemonade stand has even more meaning to it for me. Harper is the four year old cousin of my soccer teammate and has been battling cancer for the last two years.  Harper was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor in her kidney's and has been going through lots of treatments, including chemotherapy. She is a warrior and close to kicking cancers butt, and we hope she can "Ring the Bell" soon. The slogan "Raise it for Harper" has been the battle cry for her supporters as she and her family have been watching and supporting the Pittsburgh Pirates throughout her treatment in Savannah, Georgia!
