About Riley
Riley Behrman’s incredibly accomplished life was tragically cut short just days before his 21st birthday. He was known for his infectious smile, charisma, and compassionate soul. Riley had an unrivaled work ethic and was a top performer academically. He earned admission to the prestigious Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and would have graduated in 2027.
As a lifelong sports enthusiast, Riley excelled as a soccer goalie and football kicker in high school. What stood out potentially the most about Riley was his understanding at a very early age that not everyone was as fortunate as him, whether it was exposure to the world through travel, the opportunities he had or his health. Riley never took things for granted, always showing immense appreciation, and always finding ways to give back.
As Riley worked to hone his goal-kicking skills at a specialized camp the summer before his senior year, he learned of an organization called Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Having known many young and old who were impacted by cancer he decided to do his own fundraiser based on extra points he successfully kicked under the Friday Night Lights. Setting an initial goal of $1,000, the dollars grew far beyond what he ever believed he could raise, ultimately hitting nearly $6,000. This experience propelled his desire to make the world better and he would have found so many phenomenal ways to do so.
