In 2006 Cam and I participated in our first ever lemonade stand with some cousins. It was not for charity, but it was super fun! Every time I look at these photos I laugh at those silly hats! LOL

A BIG Thank You!I have to thank all those who have participated with us in making this lemonade stand work! We have had help from so many wonderful community businesses, friends and of course family members. The last couple of days have been busy with getting the final details in order. Cameron and his dad, Brad built the Lemonade Stand with his uncles Vaughn and Spencer. It looks amazing. Four of his cousins: Zack, Sami, Kendra and KayDee along with Cam's great aunt Mary and grandma Penny helped paint the stand a bright lemon yellow! It will definitely attract attention! Cam's aunt Jen bailed us out in helping with our banner after the original printer's machine broke. That was a life saver! Thanks aunt Jen! And Cam's cousins (mentioned above) along with Aunt Traci stayed up until wee hours last night creating signs for the advertising. Amazing companies have pitched in to donate great gift items to auction off at the event. I am excited to enjoy the day and see how many great people there are in our Salt Lake Community! It's all for the kids, and I look forward to having a beautiful day! A BIG thanks to you all!

Make your donation go farther...Did you know that your company may have a program to match your charitable contributions?

Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), to make your donation go further!

To find out if your company has this type of program, simply ask the human resources department. If your employer does in fact offer a matching gift program, ask human resources for a matching gift form to complete and send to ALSF along with your donation.

Almost Like Christmas!Yesterday, Cameron received a package from Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation! Our box included many items we can use to set up our Lemonade Stand! It was so fun to thumb through everything they sent - it was almost like Christmas! Unexpected packages are so fun! Our "gifts" included shirts, bandanas, posters, stickers, balloons, wristbands, temporary tatoos, lemon cutouts, coloring pages and Alex's book, Alex and the Amazing Lemonade Stand! (Which was great, because we had planned on buying it to read!) How fun! Our gifts got us excited to work a little harder! So off we go, to talk to someone else about our event! Can't wait to see you at our event!

We're on TV!I am so pleased! It looks like we'll be able to get the media attention for our event we were hoping for! One of our local news stations agreed to promote our lemonade stand! For a goal of $10,000 we're going to need all the assistance we can get our hands are! Thank you KSL 5!

Donation Time!Today, we started calling businesses in our community to get donations for our fundraiser. So far, we have been pleased with the results! There are so many generous people out there and we couldn't host this event nearly as well without them! Kudo's to all who have generously given time, money or materials! Thank you, thank you! With the help of everyone, we will make this a great event and fundraiser!! Can't wait
