University of Notre Dame

The tournament is sponsored by Sorin College, Senior Class Council, and NDtv. The event will cost $5 per person, with teams of 8-12 people. Even if you cannot get a team of 8 people, still sign up and we will find a team for you. Teams can register at North and South dining halls from 4:30-7:30pm on Friday and Saturday as well as the day of the event until 3:30PM. This means that most teams can feasibly do Muddy Sunday and still show up in time to compete in Kick It for Kevin.

Kevin Healey, a member of the class of 2011, was an incredibly enthusiastic member of the Notre Dame family. His courageous battle with cancer began during his years at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland and ended April 24, 2009 as a sophomore at Notre Dame. He was a fun-loving Sorin Otter who never missed a chance to be as goofy as possible, so a silly kickball tournament is the perfect event to honor him.

Trophies will be awarded to the winning team but also the best-dressed and most spirited teams! Snacks and juice boxes will be available. The event will take place rain, shine, or thunder. In case of thunder, the tournament will move to the Stepan Center.
