When I was in second grade, my teacher had read the class a book about Alex. So when I came home from school that day I told my Mom I wanted to hold my own lemonade stand to help raise money for kids who were less fortunate than me. Because when it comes down to it the kids didn't ask for it, and they have barely lived their lives, and cancer has come to take them. As the years went on members of my family and close friends were struggling with cancer which made the stand have even more of a purpose. I really just wanted to help others, because I knew that if I was one of patients I would want someone helping me. Thank you for your support in helping my fight cancer, one cup at a time!
