About Trevor Wade Daniel
Trevor Daniel was born June 30, 2008, the younger brother of Mia and Ethan, son of Kam and Lynn. He was an active boy who loved Jesus, his family, sports and Legos, and was a friend to all those around him. In October 2017, a small lump on Trevor's chest proved to be Early T Precursor Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. After three months of chemotherapy, he was in a complete remission and bravely continued on what was a 3 1/2 year treatment plan. Just over a year after being diagnosed, he developed swollen lymph nodes in his neck-a relapse. Against the odds, Trevor's lymphoma was in remission again after a month of experimental treatment. His brother Ethan then gave part of himself, his perfectly matched bone marrow, as a chance for Trevor to be cured. Trevor endured radiation and high doses of chemo to prepare his body for Ethan’s transplanted marrow. These brutal treatments did not change Trevor’s unrelenting positive attitude. Though he endured pain, rashes, and countless blood transfusions, he knew no discontent. A smile was always on his face. Over the next two years, Trevor’s lymphoma returned four more times. Through more rounds of radiation and chemo, his smile never faded and he appreciated the blessings of his life: time with his family, camping trips, playing baseball, learning and knowing Jesus. On June 15, 2021, Trevor finished his fight with lymphoma and earned glory and peace. He left his positive spirit for all who knew him, and his family continues his fight, searching for better treatments against T cell lymphoma.
