About Daniel Price
Daniel Alfred Price age 44 of Parrish Florida passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Philadelphia. Daniel was born in Glen Ridge, NJ but spent much of his child and adulthood in Toms River, NJ, where he purchased his first home, his childhood home.
In 1996 Daniel graduated from Toms River High School South moving on to attend Franklin Pierce University and Rowan University.
Daniel’s love for his hobbies of hockey, motorcycles and target shooting was known by all. Especially his Father who shared many similar passions as his son, particularly for the Philadelphia Eagles, which was passed down from his Grandfather. There was no one more proud of the life Daniel built than his parents, Alfred and Linda Price. Linda sang the lyrics “simply the best, better than all the rest” to Daniel as a child and those words could not stand more true today. Daniel will be extremely missed by sister Tamara Valles, his childhood best friend, and her husband Christopher, who he considered a brother. He was most adored by his two nieces Nora and Grace, who will continue to mirror Dan’s mannerisms and quirkiness.
Dan Price was the heart of several different areas in his life- among those an indivisible community of friends built through the amazing career he established over the course of 12 years. He was a cherished leader, friend, and inspiration to an enormous community of people inside the walls of Power Home Remodeling. Most especially his Power team in Tampa, FL, The Marauder’s.
Daniel helped to build an organization in the field of home construction that stands alone in the history of the industry. He worked his way up from an installer in 2010, to the national Senior Vice President of Installations in 2018, a post he served impeccably for 4 years. The success of his professional life can’t be understated. His contributions and expertise helped define the very standard of service for an entire organization which touched tens of thousands of remodeling projects across the nation each year.
Daniel had a deep influential leadership presence, revered by those who had the privilege to learn under him. He is the pioneer of an academy for craftsmanship- a months-long installation apprenticeship- that teaches the fine aspects of installation through his eyes. There’s nothing more selfless than equipping people with the skills to lead a fulfilling life, and Dan’s teachings do exactly that. His legacy exists today through the craftsmen who learned from him firsthand, and will only grow through the hundreds of craftsmen in the years to come. His accomplishments are too long to list, and can best be told by the countless people he trained, taught, inspired, and befriended over the years.
Daniels heart was largely consumed by the affection shared with his lifelong love, Amanda Taylor. Daniel and Amanda had a love admired by all. They enjoyed spending as much time as possible in the house they built from scratch, creating the home they’ve dreamed of for years. Their affection was shared through music, spending free time daydreaming of their future, enjoying Sundays eating wings and chasing sunsets on their infamous golf cart. It brings Amanda peace in knowing Dan has joined their beloved dog Ringo. Today and always, Dan is sending his love through the words of “I love you to Jupiter and back” to his one and only, Manders.
Dan will be missed by all. We love you, Dan. You are simply the best, better than all the rest.
