Help Leanor reach her goal of funding one whole week of research by coming to her lemonade stands!  We'll have homemade lemonade, lemon cake & cookies, and lemony jewelry.  We're doing three stands during Lemonade Days:
June 4 at the West Perry Branch Library parking lot, 1:30-4:30pm (thank you to everyone who stopped by - we raised $500 in cash donations!)
June 11 at Rosa Parks Elementary parking lot, 2-4pm
June 12 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church during coffee hour following 10am service, 11am-noon

From December 2020-October 2021, Leanor battled Ewing Sarcoma.  She was discharged from the hospital just in time to help her family and friends run a small Lemonade Stand last year in her honor, and she is so excited to be healthy and energetic for three stands and a quadrupled fundraising goal this year!

Every day, there are almost 800 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 300,000 new cases of cancer that affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research dedicated to childhood cancers each year.  The money you donate has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of kids with cancer. Leanor has chosen to support Ewings Sarcoma research, and your donation will help find safer, more effective treatments and cures for this rare disease.
