It was a rainy few days here so not many miles logged, but we hope those of you with sunny weather are making it up for us!

A quick reminder of why....

Jack is a model survivor with a smooth treatment journey. Even so, this month he will have five appointments with specialists to manage the late effects of chemotherapy including; visual-motor processing disorder, drop foot syndrome, and neuropathy. These are from directly long-term exposure to the toxic chemotherapy drugs that saved his life. None of these drugs are intended for children; all are toxic at their therapeutic doses.

Money raised this month will help the Crazy Eight Initiative work towards less toxic therapies for leukemia. Thank you for your support.

It is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Eve. Get outside and join us as we fight for kids like Jack and his fellow warriors in ALSF's Million Mile fundraiser.

This year we are keeping in our hearts the ALL warriors who won their cancer battles but lost the war to the decades-old toxic treatments used to treat this highly curable cancer. For survivors of childhood cancer, 60% will develop serious side effects from their treatments, including secondary cancers.

There is a better way. Help us find it.
