Baby Jujubee was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor which is a form of Kidney cancer hen she was just 3 months old. She had her kidney removed as well as a very large tumor. After the surgical pathology we found out that they had found cancer cells found in an artery. This meant 3 different types of chemo with 20 weeks of treatment. The cost of treatments have been staggering and we are so grateful for all the donations we have received. I don't think that any family is prepared to get the life shattering news that your little baby has cancer. We have now reached month 6 and we are scheduled to have her last round of chemo this week and hopefully get surgery scheduled to have her port removed. I think I wanted to share our story because it has a happy ending our sweet little baby is in remission!! It is hard not to think worst case scenario when you get your diagnosis and you are in the trenches fighting with your child. Keep hope alive and live like everyday is your last and be so thankful for your healthy children!
