Since Isola's diagnosis in February 2022 we've been taking it one day at a time, often one hour or minute at a time. When her cancer came back in January 2023 and the only hope for a cure was a bone marrow transplant (BMT) it was heartbreaking. Her cancer, Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma is very rare and there is no standardized treatment plan for relapse.  We need more research to be done.  Isola had her BMT in April and is still battling. Her recovery will be long.  This September, I will continue raising money for childhood cancer research, one mile at a time by participating in The Million Mile. Help us move one step closer to finding cures for all kids with cancer by donating or joining our team (Isola's Incredible Team)!
