Welcome!

My name is Sammi, and this September, I will Be Bold & Go Gold during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by participating in The Million Mile. I am running in memory of my older sister Alex. We lost her to leukemia when she was just 16 and I was 14. My sister was an incredible young woman. She never gave up and fought hard until the Lord called her home. She loved Jesus and I know she is healed and in His arms and that I will see her again one day. Her faith through hardship continues to inspire me and others almost 18 years later. Her favorite Bible verse was: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. That is the way she lived her life, and I hope it encourages others to do the same. She had a heart for people, especially children, and with your help we can raise money to help kids with cancer and make my sister proud!
